Frequently asked questions and Troubleshooting

I want to Identify a Tax Lot but nothing is returned when I click the map.

In order for the identify to work, the layer needs to be visible in the map. Try zooming in and then Identifying.

The layer I want is greyed out in the table of contents.

Some layers are scaled dependent, meaning that they are only visible at certain scales. When a layer is greyed out, it is not visible at that scale.

Where does the data come from?

All the GIS data used on the map was obtained from McLeod County GIS Department, Minnesota DNR Data Deli or LMIC WMS services. For more information about the data please contact the McLeod County GIS.
